When you can’t be with your friends and family, one way to feel connected is by holding a virtual event.

Whether a quiz, games night, kitchen disco or coffee morning, set up a video call, and invite your friends and family to come along in return for a donation to Shine.

You can use any video messaging service you like. A few options include such as Zoom, Facebook messenger and Whatsapp. 

To boost your fundraising total, you could include popular party games - higher or lower and charades work just as well virtually as in person - or hold a competition, rewarding the best fancy dress costume or most fabulous outfit.
